The Ubuntu Guy

I saw a person today on the train.. He was fat, young but looking middle aged, had a fat tummy and very thin legs, was holding the newspaper so close to his face, you wouldnt know he had one and was wearing Ubuntu accesories all around..

He had big glasses and all the usual suspects, by which I mean an unkempt beard and general disregard for clothing..

Perhaps, he is the image of the geek most people have and maybe thats why, Linux isnt really cool.. But MAC, is..

Since ofcourse, those wielding iWhatevers seem to look well off, to the eye of the observer, perhaps.. I dont know.

Got me thinking about the perceptions we build around products we use, some blame it on marketing, others on media..

I blame it on the public that builds its own notions around marketing campaigns, or in this case shoddily dressed gentlemen
